I was born and raised in South Florida. After graduating from high school, I attended FSU where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology. I returned to South Miami-Dade County and worked as a State Probation Officer until I was hired by the US Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms. I worked as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent with ATF over 27 combined years before I decided it was time for a change and chose to work as a Realtor.
I am a husband, a father, a son, a brother and an uncle. I'm actively involved member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Our motto is "A Community of Service and Service for the Community". I'm a junior leader in the church I attend and a member of our church choir as well.
I became an ATF Agent because I grew up knowing first-hand the effects of criminal activity in a community. I wanted to help the helpless, the innocent, the law abiding citizen. I can proudly say I did my best to make life better for as many people as I could. I have always respected every person regardless of their status in life. I believe we should not judge a person based on their circumstances of their life.
I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate because I saw it as an opportunity to continue to serve others. Purchasing a home for most of us is probably the largest, most significant transaction we will ever be involved in. As a Real Estate Agent it is my job to protect the innocent (the client) just as it was my job to protect those law abiding citizens when I was a federal law enforcement officer.
For me it is a pleasure to serve in this capacity because I get to meet people from all walks of life and be a part of a major decision in their life.
I have the ability to help them get what they want and protect their interest in the process.
I was a supervisor during the latter years of my career with ATF and I guess you can say what I learned as a supervisor contributes greatly to my success as a Real Estate Agent. I know how to take control of a situation and manage it to the end resulting in a positive outcome for my clients.
