I served in the military (Army) when it wasn't cool to serve our country and loved the experiences I gained overseas and at home. I was a legal clerk and even though the military legal and civilian legal are WAY different, learning how to find the information was crucial and has helped me daily, even to this day. 

I grew up in a Real Estate home in Lafayette, LA and I received my Real Estate license at an early age. I worked in the company business and this was at a time when there wasn't even a fax machine...yes I am that old! Since then things have come such a long way. I love technology and my hubby accuses me of being a bit of a geek.

When the Real Estate market died in the early 80's, I decided a change of pace was needed and moved to CA. When I arrived, I went to a  free lunch concert and got to hear the Mama's and Papa's singing all about California dreaming and I knew I knew they were singing to me.  

After the big earthquake I left the San Francisco Bay area and moved to Sacramento. I was a mortgage broker for over 25 years in CA and loved the challenges. Each day was different and exciting and I got to help so many people with their home purchases. Whether is was a first time homebuyer, someone impacted from a really bad flood, someone who wanted to move up or investors looking to save on taxes. 

My husband then took a job change to work in Washington DC. What could be more exciting than that? So I reinvented myself again. I decided to go back to my first love, Real Estate. I chose a company with a fantastic reputation, Long and Foster. We are extensively trained, we work with mentors, we have on going training to stay super sharp in this constantly changing environment.
