Get to Know Dawn Wichael
I have been a licensed real estate broker since 1983 but only used it for one year and just kept it current over all of these years. I have been an escrow officer and/or escrow manager in title and escrow companies for over 45 years - handling mostly business sales (bulk sales) for 25 years. After retiring I decided to use my license and sell real estate - specializing in commercial properties. I attended San Jose State with major in bus ed and minor in real estate. I have taught real estate and escrow classes at Shasta Junior College and have received many rewards for my business knowledge and teaching skills.

Certifications
I graduated from Red Bluff High School in 1960 and went to San Jose State, majoring in business ed with minor in real estate. Went to work for a title company in 1963 and 45 years later retired from the escrow business. I was the escrow manager for Alliance Title when they closed in December of 2007. After a year of "retirement" I decided that it was not my thing to retire so I decided to use my California Broker's license which I did get in 1983 and used for one year. I am really glad that I kept it current. In escrow I was the "queen" of the business sales with commercial transactions. In 2002 I was awarded the customer service award by the Redding Chamber of Commerce as I love to work and help people. I am now at Coldwell Banker Commercial-C&C Properties in Redding and really learning a lot working with Jim Ramsay.
