Gloucester Gets New Community Paper by Kaitlin Kraft

Welcome to the premier issue of Gloucester County Living, a new community newspaper directed towards families in our county.

"Our concept is to provide not only informative, accurate articles in regards to real estate, market news and mortgage information, but to also highlight specific events in the community," says local resident and real estate broker, Fred Buehler, of RE/MAX Preferred.

Community Connection

"Members of our county can look forward to reading about community events and things like home and garden articles," says Buehler. Also included will be vendor advertisements and special offers for businesses and professionals in the Gloucester area.

"This county has such a great hometown feel already, I just wanted to be able to put out a paper that's local and really speaks to the residents. I live here, work here and play here just like everyone else in these neighborhoods, and this is something that I think will benefit and help connect the community," Buehler says.

Radio Exposure, Real Estate Expertise

In addition to the articles you'll see in this publication, Buehler can also be heard in seven different major cities around the United States, including on his nationally syndicated radio show, titled "Straight Talkin' Real Estate." Already in such cities as Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, just to name a few, Buehler hopes to expand his audience soon.

During the radio program, Buehler talks about everything from mortgages to trivia, and targets both homeowners and investors. But most importantly, he addresses the negative influence the media has been having on real estate in the past months.

"Real estate has been getting too much undeserved bad press lately. As an experienced agent, I can confidently say there are still good opportunities out there. Real estate is not a short-term, get rich-quick thing anymore. It's a home, and it's an investment. Real estate shouldn't be looked at like an ATM machine, because that's not what it's meant to be," he explains.

Interesting, Informative Articles

The inside contents of Gloucester County Living will also feature everything from Dave Barry articles, to Wolfgang Puck recipes, to movie and book reviews. Although most of the information will be geared towards homeowners, such as home improvement and gardening tips, it will also include kids games and coloring pages. "There's truly something for everyone included, and it comes right to your door," says Buehler. "Keep an eye out for future issues!"
