Hi everyone! My name is Deric Boismier. I was born in Canada and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, by my amazing parents. I went to Lakes Shore High School and continued my education at the University of Michigan Dearborn.

My great grandfather and both grandfathers were all in the service and served in times of war. That being said, I then changed my career path and joined the United States Marine Corps, signing a four year active duty enlistment contract (mom wasn’t too happy). I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. During those four years, I grew in life by an enormous amount. I was able to see most of this country, while meeting and making new amazing friends at the same time. I spent almost half of those four years in other countries on combat deployments. After all was said and done, I learned to truly value life and to never take a day for granted (and, of course, my parents forgave me and are very proud).

When I have time I try to spend it outside, as long as it is nice.  Most of us in Michigan seem to hate Michigan winters!  However, I love them when there is snow, which lately seems rare, as I love to snowboard.

I also currently work at the Hill Seafood and Chophouse in Grosse Pointe Farms bartending and waiting tables at night a few nights a week. I love it since I have the privilege of meeting new great people every day and always putting a smile on their faces.

When I bought my home using a VA loan, my realtor was a close trusted family friend.  It made the whole transaction easy and comfortable; I ended up buying a beautiful home that I love because of my realtor. I know I was taken care of and not taken advantage of.  I want you to have the same great experience that I did.  I am here all day, everyday, at anytime for any of your needs, whether it is helping you find your new dream home or selling your current one.
