Get to Know Debbie McDaniel
I am a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a soccer coach and a loan officer. The passion for all is very powerful. I love what I do. When asked by my four year old neice; what do you at your office? I told her "I have the best job in the bank; I give people money to buy their home". She looked at me for a second; and you could certainly tell she was thinking about what I had just said, she replied. "Where do you keep the money?" We giggled and I tried to explain. I think she may have understood...but maybe not. Later I thought more about her question. How many of us really know how this process works? The most important part of my job is to educate the customer. Empower them with the knowledge I have gained over 10 years experience. Quoting rates, emailing good faith estimates and pulling credit reports...lets face it...anyone can do that. What seperates the "anyones" from the true professionals is passion. Passion for what you do, for who you do it for and passion for the result. I love what I do. I love who I work for and I love watching a young family, a retired couple, a single professional hold the keys of their new home in their hand and thank me. Think about how you feel after a long day, a long trip or when you are not feeling well; where do you want to go..Home. I keep my heart in my job, my brain fresh and my eyes and ears open. I think about my customers; I think about what is best for them and I perform with their best interest leading me.

It is important to stay on top of the unbelievable, some say unprescedented changes in the industry. I pride my self in the desire to learn. I don't know everything; but I do know how to find the answer. Critics will tell you the "big banks" are cookie cutters; with limited programs. The truth is Bank of America offers over 300 mortgage products across the country and stay within the top 3 at any given time in pricing.
