After working and living in Santa Barbara for the past 15 years, I opted for a change of pace and moved to Southern Utah. A big part of that decision was real estate, with home prices in Santa Barbara being a smidge more than I was looking to spend on a house. (As of this writing, the median price of a home in SB is $1.1 million - Yikes!)

I worked as the Business Manager for a resepected small business in Santa Barbara for 11 years. My main duties were business development, marketing, technology research and application, and sales to our high-value clients. I really loved that job, and miss it. But after 11 years, I knew I wanted to experience something new. Life is short, and you have to have some adventures!

I was born and raised in the great state of Iowa. I'm a fierce fan of the Green Bay Packers, but still try to give respect to poor Vikings and Bears fans. =P

I enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and wasting way too much time in front of my computer.
