I couldn’t be happier with the way Dave Hyman answered all of my questions, stayed in touch almost every day and solved problems like it was just second nature. I had started on the East Coast with a strong desire to be near my kids and grandkids in San Diego…but with no idea who would help me find and buy the right West Coast home. Happily, in short, I lucked out when a series of events led me to Dave Hyman. Even weeks after escrow was over, and I was completely moved in and settled, in San Diego, Dave continued to take care of me, making phone calls and negotiating solutions to additional problems that cropped up with the HOA and the HVAC unit. We have realtors among our family and friends so it seemed like a no-brainer to use one of them for our move. But Dave was selling another house, across the street from us, and I met him at the open house. I was really impressed that Dave actually went to every house in the neighborhood to find potential buyers in addition to all the usual marketing. He knows this neighborhood better than anyone and his approach was tremendously proactive. Dave is very honest (which was extremely important to us), he knew the answers to all of our questions (or he researched and found them quickly), he was always available and responsive and he seemed to genuinely care about our family during the sale—so he made things easy for us. Dave was selling a house down the street from mine so I called the number on his sign to ask him how that was going. He said something like, “Well, we’ve gotten nine offers over the weekend and we’ve accepted one for way above asking price.” That’s when I knew I was on board! The Active Agent (Dave) knew how to make the same thing happen with my house, and everything went pretty much like clockwork even though there were a few serious hurdles to clear. I couldn’t be happier with Dave Hyman’s customer service and he negotiated up a storm for me—got me everything I wanted and more. I’d use Dave again in a heartbeat! I knew I had to sell my house but I had no idea where to start. I was so lucky to find Dave! He says he's the Active Agent, and he's not kidding! He worked hard for me and made this whole thing so much easier than I thought it would be. He went above and beyond, organizing movers and an estate sale company, going to bat for me with the city when a tree caused plumbing problems. He saved me a LOT of money by negotiating for me and he always stayed in touch. I was always in the loop from the very beginning to the very happy end.
