Why Real Estate?

My passion for helping others is something that has undeniably been responsible for my decision to enter into this industry. Upon graduating from college with a degree in marketing and advertising, I accepted a job in the financial industry in Miami. Missing my hometown, I returned to Pittsburgh in the mid-80's only to realize that jobs were scarce, and I started to do some soul-searching. Eventually, I realized that what truly made me happy was working with people one on one and genuinely helping them achieve their goals. Being that my background was in marketing, I had an ease working with people and a determination to network with other professionals whose values and success I respected. Combined with my experiences in the financial sector, I had developed an extremely high standard of professionalism that I was excited to extend to a new venture: real estate.

I never viewed buying or selling a home as strictly a financial transaction or the transferrance of property: it is a very personal decision. Because I've treated my career as something that has the potential to positively change a client's life, I have had the joy of connecting with my clients on a sincere and genuine level. This has led to lasting relationships which span generations. Nothing can describe the feeling of personal satisfaction when I touch people's lives and help them realize their real estate dreams.

Before I entered the real estate industry in my native Pittsburgh, I was working in the financial industry for Meryll Lynch in sunny Miami, Florida. Though I ultimately decided to leave the finance sector, I took a few gems of experience with me into my current profession: a strong attention to detail, business acumen, and an adherence and belief in due diligence.If there is one word in the English language that makes me jump with fervor, it's "professionalism." There is something titillating about connecting nationally with colleagues in this industry that embrace the philosophy of integrity and excellence in all they do. It's been an unforgettable and immeasurable experience to be a part of the Star Power Club and to share ideas with other like-minded agents who also espouse high standards and ethics.I proudly hold the CRS, GRI, and ABR distinctions as well as membership to the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence Club, Star Power Club, Realtor's Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, "Andron Epiphanon Fraternity-Society of Excellence," and the Washington-Greene Association of Realtors Diamond Excellence Club. My greatest accomplishment, however, is being a dedicated and supportive dream-maker! It has been with my clients' happiness and satisfaction in mind that I have attained esteemed distinctions in the industry, and made my mission to provide them with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics possible.
