Certifications
I did not choose to go into real estate per se. While buying and selling my own real estate I quickly understood the complexities and costs and realized I needed an education. By chance I landed a job at a real estate brokerage that required my job duties be vast & varied. I was a full charge bookkeeper, a web designer, an advertising executive, a personal assistant, a front office clerk. With all I did, I was still the outsider, not part of the team, making an hourly wage with no benefits. It was lonely.
I knew of alternative real estate brokerages dawning on the scene. I knew it was possible to use technology to keep business personal, to reach global markets without compromising personal assistance. It is clear that change has to come or the small town realtor will fall by the wayside. I decided to get my license and look for a brokerage that would allow me to follow my vision, to bridge the seam, to end cookie cutter pricing, to truly serve my clientele.
