Curt received his BBA degree from the University of Arkansas in 1973 and has 35 years of construction company ownership and experience. He started work in the construction field in 1966 with his uncle's construction company and has hands-on experience in nearly every phase from foundation to finish carpentry.
Curt built his first custom home in 1976 and his first commercial project in 1982. After building numerous residential and commercial structures for the next few years, he decided to focus exclusively on commercial real estate and construction.
The Texarkana area is now heavily dotted with office buildings, retail projects, truck terminals, office/warehouse facilities, and other commercial projects that he has developed and built. These projects were all developed under the heading of Curt Green & Company until late 1999 when he and James Herrington teamed with a third partner to form a multi state development and construction group that focused on retail developments for Fortune 500 companies.
Curt has always taken a very active role in local, state and national activities that support the community and small business enterprise. He has chaired numerous boards including the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce and most recently completed a term as the state chairman for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
In early 2009, C2C Real Estate Services and C2C Construction Services, LLC were formed providing with longtime friend and business partner James Herrington “Concept to Completion” services . The changing landscape that occurred in retail development in 2008 had offered an opportunity for the partners to place an increased emphasis on financial, medical and health related development and construction. While continuing their traditional BTS and design/build activities, repeat business remains the core of their success and their best advertisement is delivered word of mouth by satisfied clients
