I started my real estate career in 1997 when I went to work for a national new home builder (was US Homes.....now Lennar Homes) I was there for approximately two years until I realized I wanted to help the home buyers, not the home builder. When I became licensed in 1998, I was young enough that first time home buyers seemed to be my primary market. I am proud to say that over eleven years later, first time home buyers are still who I enjoy working with the most! They are my primary niche, I guess you could say. The other niche that has become very near and dear to my heart is the military. With Colorado Springs having such a huge military presence, I feel that it is important to give back to these men and women. I had the pleasure of going down to Fort Hood in March, 2009 for a week to lend a hand to the 4th Infantry Division who were making their way north here to Carson. What I witnessed when I was down there, is that, when relocating, these service men and women are given very little in the way of relocation assistance. That is where I am committed to taking up the slack. From providing Colorado Springs information for the families who have never been stationed here, to providing rental property information, to providing homes for sale information, to providing spousal job support/information, to providing daycare information, to providing school information, it has become my personal commitment to help ANYONE and EVERYONE. My personal and professional commitment is to provide relevant relocation assistance when, quite frankly, the governement is not! Finally, twelve plus years selling in El Paso County gives me a well rounded professional experience to assist in any transaction, at any level. From short sale transactions, to REO purchases, to move up buyers and sellers, to buyers and selers looking to down size, I am here to serve and to assist. Real estate is not only my profession but my passion!
I specialize primarily in first time home buyers and military buyers and sellers. But, Because of my 12 plus years experience as a real estate professional in Colorado Springs, my specialties would have necessarily expanded to include move up buyers and sellers. Assistance to buyers purchasing a brand new home is another area of service I specialize in. Because my start up years consisted of working as a new home builder representative, I am able to provide a unique perspective when I am representing a buyer. I can offer professional insight and expertise from my perspective as a real estate professonal but also be able to give the buyer the "inside scoop" as to what the builder representative might be thinking when we sit down to write a contract, further strengthening financial negotiations that the buyer may not have even know they were privy to!!!
I am very comfortable selling all areas of El Paso County. From Fountain, north to Monument. from Manitou Springs, east to Peyton, and everything in between, I have extensive listing and selling experience.
