MMI manages single family homes, townhomes and condos for rent in Prince George's, Montgomery, Howard, Anne Arundel, Charles and Baltimore Counties of Maryland. We are also licensed in the District of Columbia.  Chris Majerle, President, serves on several Realtor Association committees including Forms and Property Management. He is also a licensed real estate broker in Maryland and DC and a licensed home improvement contractor in Maryland. Our services include marketing and showing vacant rental properties, screening applicants, lease preparation, maintenance response and property inspections as well as accounting and collections.

Recently, MMI formed a membership organization called the MMI Real Estate Investors Society (REIS), which is designed to help small real estate investors or wanna-be investors learn about how to acquire, manage and dispose of real estate. In addition to the expertise the MMI staff brings to the meetings, members learn from each other in a networking environment. REIS also offers business memberships for real estate investor service companies such as attorneys, Realtors and maintenance providers. MMI clients receive free membership. Non-clients pay a small annual fee to help defray the cost of room rental, refreshments and mailings. Members receive a newsletter following each of the 10 meetings annually. We are also growing in the area of Condominium and Home Owner Association Management. Chris is now a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS) and a Professional Manager of Community Associations, (PCAM). We never manage for developers, rather we prefer to take-on a community struggling to get started in self-management whether just coming out of developer control or out for 10 years with no direction ever having been established. Whether you are a rental property owner of one or 100 units or you are on the board of directors for your community association, accurate and timely accounting is essential. MMI provides rental statements within 10 days of the end of the month accompanied by a check for the current month's rent, if paid.  Our associations receive a full accounting report within 15 days of month-end accompanied by an emailed Management Report with narratives written by management about the issues pending before the association, delinquency reports and full report of collection activities, annual calendar and action item log.

Our success lies in two areas: reporting and organization. Our reports are always on-time. Association reports are bound and pages numbered. Our files are neat and orderly including association organizational books with governing documents, contracts, pending proposals, rules & regs, resolutions and other pertinent information that may be needed at a board meeting.

People say property management is a "headache." For them, that is probably true. But, when you know where to find important papers, you know where the money went, you monitor all maintenance, legal and management functions on an on-going basis, you see the properties periodically... well, it's just not that hard. We pride ourselves in our organization and the reports we are able to prepare as a direct result of that organization.
