My career in real estate started over 30 years ago when I was working as an owner/broker of an estate agency in England. With only three offices, we were able to build a very successful business, dealing with home sellers and buyers as well as investors and developers. I had specific responsibility for marketing and for developing or commercial real estate business.
After a few years I moved on from the day-to-day real estate business and I worked as an international management consultant for over 20 years, helping businesses, government agencies and charities to become more efficient. Throughout this time I maintained my contacts in real estate and worked with investors to advise them on potentially profitable opportunities.
When I moved to America in the 1990s I resumed my investment activities, after studying the market here and gaining an understanding of the differences in how the English and American real estate businesses work.
Through working in the independent investor side of the business, I met a local agent who invited me to work with him to develop his Internet presence (I was also running an Internet marketing company) and I joined his team to promote them and generate leads. After a couple of years of doing that, I obtained my VA salesperson license and subsequently moved to work with Gracious Living Realty. The rest, as they say, is history.
With over 500 broker price opinions completed, and more being done every week, I have an excellent appreciation of current market prices and trends and this helps me to sell homes in the shortest possible time, for top dollar.

My aim is not to list houses, but to sell them!

This enables me to refine the searches I conduct every day, to offer the client only properties that are a close match to their needs. This saves them wasting time and money looking at homes that are not going to be suitable.
Investor clients are handled in a similar way to other buyers, but with the difference that I am able to identify properties that match their investment criteria, rather than their lifestyle. With ready access to a team of proven, capable and reliable contractors, as well as my own project management background, I can offer a turnkey service fro locating investment properties, through negotiation and purchase, to upgrading them and reselling them. This saves the investor time and money and maximizes their return on investment. As a HUD listing agent, I have access to foreclosed homes throughout the state, and I am qualified to submit offers on HUD homes.
