Cheryl is a learner! Since beginning a career in Real Estate in 2000, Cheryl has continued to take classes and learn about first time home buyers, new home construction and working with builders. She has had classes in investments, in loans and what the differences are for different clients. She has continued to learn how to help the military and their special concerns upon moving and finding homes for families with speed. She has helped famlies find homes before arriving and therefore, saving them from moving twice.
Cheryl's Brokers have called her the "Golden Rule Realtor" because she has helped people who were not helped by others, saved them thousands of dollars, and even helped some who found themselves in dire circumstances and could not afford to pay for services. She has continued to find ways to be involved in the local Chamber of Commerce, volunteer, be active in church and teach Bible classes on a regular basis.
Cheryl has a cerebral palsied son, two daughters and four grandchildren who delight her! You need someone who cares? Others called Cheryl and found that if she can help, they often leave with a feeling that they were served in the best way and refer others to her. The military has found a friend who cares about them! She just continues to get education to grow her business and add value to her client's lives.
What makes one Realtor (R) work harder for people than another? Ask those who have worked with Cheryl. She is able to put the clients needs first. The families needs are the first questions Cheryl needs. How much can you afford? If you don't know, let her help. If you have a limited budget, or money is no object, it all makes a difference in what houses you will want to see. Do you need schools for kids? Do you need to be near hospitals? Give Cheryl all the information that will make a difference in the location of the homes you want to see.
I have helped families buy, sell, resell and buy again through the years. I have helped families who are in need of special funding and treat everyone with care and concern. It is a pleasure to meet people and find ways to serve them as they move into the Lawton area. She will find ways to help families find the best schools (if they have children in sports, with special needs, needing gifted programs, have more family members, etc.). Cheryl has had comments like, "She helped us find temporary housing while waiting for our home to close." It is not about the money with her, but about the needs of the family she is serving.
It is great to know that Cheryl will go online and find ways to save money for the cllients. If families have never bought a home before, they will learn the process and have things explained so they will know what they are doing this time, and know next time what to watch for. If you need to rent and not buy, she will be the first to tell you that we might need to wait. Cheryl will not want someone to overextend the budget and be "house poor." If you are looking for luxury homes, she can help find those also. But most families are not looking for the upper end homes when they arrive in Lawton.
