I have been an active West Contra Costa County Realtor since July 1972.  I have been associated with Security Pacific Real Estate since March 1987.  I started my career serving mostly first time homebuyers with a great understanding of FHA, VA and special programs.  I am a Graduate Realtors Institute, Certified Residential Specialist and a 730 Expert for Contra Costa Superior Court.  I have been active with WCCAR my local associatio, CAR and NAR since starting my career.  I was Realtor Associate for WCCAR for 1978, Realtor of the Year for 1984 and receive the Distinguished Service Award for 2005.  I am an Honorary Director for Life for CAR. 

I have lived in the immediate area since grammar school. I have been married to my high school sweet heart (Bill) since 1963 (we were married before graduation.)  We have 3 adult children.  Melannie Steeley is an escrow officer with Chicago Title in Orinda. She and her husband Tony have 2 children, Natalie 12 and Nicholas 6, who attend El Sobrante Christian School. Robert Dopp is General Contractor and lives in Pinole with his wife Cara.  They have 2 boys, Bradley 16 is a Junior at Pinole Valley High and Lance 3 stays home, for now.  Roberts sons with Leslie, David 22 and Christopher 21 live in Lafayette and are studens at DVC.  Philip Dopp is a carpenter.  He and his wife Michele live on the Big Island of Hawaii.  His girls, Jessica 18 and Julia 16 live in Suisun City with their mother Rachel. Jessica is a freshman at UC Davis and Julia is a Junior at Rodriguez High in Fairfield.
