Sometimes you just know what you’re meant to do in life. For Carmilla Rena Brown, that overwhelming feeling came over her long before she became a Realtor.  At the time, Brown was looking for a home of her own and instead of being frustrated by the process, she found herself loving every minute of it  – from narrowing down her preferences in a house, to selecting the neighborhood in which she would put down roots to the entire experience of placing an offer and closing escrow on the home she eventually purchased. It was then she knew she was hooked.  

 

A former business owner, Brown knew that once she began working as a Realtor, it would be no different than before; she would have to earn her clients one person at a time. “Rena is a savvy Realtor,” says fellow Realtor Toschia Moore. “She is very passionate about her work and takes pride in all she does. A Charleston native, Brown adores working with buyers and sellers in a place where she is familiar with every street corner, every neighborhood and every home for sale, priding herself in having her finger on the perennially on pulse of a thriving community. She adds, “Friends and family always seemed to rely on me to provide advice on staging their homes as well as pick my brain on all kinds of issues dealing with the Charleston real estate market.  Because of that (oh, and my addiction to HGTV real estate reality shows), it feels nearly organic to be a real estate consultant.”
