Before becoming a Realtor I spent about 25 years as an architect, interior designer and construction manager. I worked mostly on large government and institutional projects. In 1984 I co-founded an architectural practice and grew it from a two person firm to two offices with 35 full time employees. At the end of 1999 I sold my interest in the architectural firm; then led a construction company and a multi-service construction management firm. Soon after I started investing in real estate and that led me to becoming a full time Reltor. I use my abilities to help people buy, sell and invest in real estate. I have handled transactions from the Florida Keys to Ft. Lauderdale. My focus areas are Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, South Miami, Pinecrest, Miami and sorrounding areas. But I am also familiar with the Beaches, Key Biscayne, etc. Due to my background I am able to assist buyers of new and pre-construction single and multi-family as well as regular re-sale properties. In new properties I am able to assist the buyers with punch lists at the end of construction. I also help them to negotiate a contract that more clearly defines their expectations.
Now with foreclosed properties I am able to assist buyers to determine what may be needed to make some of these properties livable again. I do that by connecting them with contractors and sub-contractors who can help them define the scope of the work needed and the budgets to get them accomplished.
