I started as an agent with Eukuban & Associates in 1984.  This was the era before cell phones, the web or MLS.  We had beepers, pick up keys from the listing company and received handwritten offers.  My first contract was Capitol Hill before it gained respect and popularity.  The sales price was $145,000.00 and  just one block from the Senate Office Building. This young man didn't believe his investment was a wise decision but it was just one block from his job.It was a career move. (smile)

My most satisfying experience was working with first time home buyers. At first, it wasn't the most financially rewarding, but the repeat business was very rewarding.  Most of these clients called back to purchase a larger home.  I would list their current residence and sell them the house of their dreams.  Job promotions, marriages, children, etc., they came back.  Today, I receive calls from young college graduates who thankful parents recommended my services.  Their first words are often "you sold my mother her first house".  Can I say more?

I work in all areas of real estate which includes but not limitied to first time home buyers, residential and multi-family properties as well as property management.  I also have a small group of investors who are ready, willing and able buyers.

For the past seven years the majority of my business is REO properties, short sales and foreclosures.  My main goal is to help distressed sellers avoid foreclosure  because the impact is far greater than that of a short sale. Therefore, my clients short sales are closed because of my years of experience working with banks, mortgage companies, financial institutions, attorneys, etc. Sometimes, Cash For Keys is an excellent choice but foreclosure is never a option. A foreclosure remains on a client's credit file for ten (10) years and permanent in public record.  However, a short sale mortgage holder reports the account as setted in full, paid, paid as negotiated, etc.

I also assist my sellers in locating the right contractors for repairs, drywall, painting, plastering, carpet, locks, etc. to give the property curb appeal and a fresh look.  The bottom line is "more money" for my seller(s). I have a moving van and yes, I have moved my sellers.
