Get to Know Brian Horan
In my first days at Chase I asked my branch manager how much we needed to "make" off each loan. He said to give all available discounts to the client to get the best rate possible. He said the goodwill that I create will be rewarded by the client's referral of friends, family and associates. He said "Hey man, just do the right thing!" I left his office thinking I know exactly how to do that.
I know that this may be the biggest purchase of someone's life. This may be the first home a young couple will ever own. I know that my clients need to trust in my advice. I won't betray that trust! At some point in each transaction I think about what I would do if I were in my clients shoes.
There is a sign above my desk that reads, "What if it were your money?" and "Do the right thing!". When I give my word and my handshake, that means something to me.
