The metropolitan Lynchburg area is not really a metropolis.  In Lynchburg and the surrounding counties, there are about 225,000.  We have over 700 realtors who are members of the Lynchburg association so no one can afford to specialize.  I do handle residential (including multi-family units) vs commercial.  Interestingly, I have had a number of listings that are the older, historic types of properties although my personal home preference is very contemporary. I appreciate all styles and one of the main things I love about my job is getting to see all the beautiful homes!

Whether you're a buyer or seller, I can help you navigate through the sales or buying process.  I maintain a list of referrals for mortgage  lenders, home inspectors, insurance agents, lawyers or settlement companies, repair firms, etc.  Just ask.  If I don't have it, I will find out.  The real estate firm that I work for, Dawson Ford Garbee, also has a mortgage company and an insurance company so we can provide one-stop shopping if desired.

I am fortunate to be associated with a firm that provides weekly training opportunities and a board that brings in nationally recognized speakers to provide seminars on varied real estate topics.  Most recently, I completed certification as a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource.  Although the Lynchburg area has been fortunate not to experience a high foreclosure rate, I have been exposed to this market and now feel more confident to deal with it.
