Hello and welcome to my activerain site. My name is Bob Faust, and I am a senior loan office for Superior Mortgage in Tuckerton NJ. Our company has been in business since 1987, we specialize in residential mortgages. As the credit crunch has taken its toll on our industry, I am proud to say we have weathered the current storm and I have complete confidence we will continue to GROW as we have even through this extreme environment. I started in the business in 1992, with Superior Mortgage, after 2-3 years of ongoing conversations with the founders of the company. I had been managing for a major retailer, who eventually sold the company to a company out of Europe....and well we know how it went from there. I was fortunate enough to leave and enter the mortgage industry when both Superior and I where in need of each other. As one of the founders was looking to take the company to lofty heights, I was considering (more seriously) changing careers. After 3-4 meeting and interviews we came to an agreement. He needed a pro and I needed a new challenge. Timing, decisions, and calculated risks really are everything when making career decisions, and this is one that has worked out GREAT for all parties. Since about my first full year I have finished first or second in the company for loan production. I contribute my continued success from a number areas. First an "if you're working I'm working" mentality. Number two satisfying our clients and looking forward to their friends and family referrals. Three, paying attention to the details, by paying attention to the details, I can say that "I have never denied a loan after the pre-approval had been issued". There are others, like fast and accurate (even if not what someone wants to hear) decisions, you get the idea so I won't ramble.
