ABOUT THE NAME: It is not a reflection about my views on wealth and prosperity. I have rather a conservative view about such matters. I believe in 15 year mortgages and bi-monthly payments. My views are closer to our previous generations that sought to pay off their homes and live below their means. The name Big Rich Realty is simply a marketing tool to help people remember my brokerage. If you are reading this now, there is a good possibility that the name intrigued you enough to research it. The name and logo has a western theme to it because it reminds me of a simpler time when a man's word was his bond. I'd like to think that my company represents a convergence of old fashioned values and cutting edge technology.
ABOUT RICHARD SNOWDEN Richard Snowden has been a Ventura resident for over 37 years. He was introduced to real estate by his mother Karen Snowden, a top producing veteran agent that was well respected in the industry and is now retired. Karen’s work ethic and honesty are the cornerstones of Richard’s business. Licensed since 1984, Richard began his career with the Century 21 organization while attending college. He has since worked in the real estate industry with both regional and national organizations. He is a strong believer in utilizing technology for maximizing marketing efforts. To better serve his clients Richard has attended numerous educational seminars throughout the years, ranging from 1031 tax exchanges, REOMAC seminars, to estate preservation through effective and meaningful disclosures and inspections.
Richard’s volunteer work with the local Association of Realtors includes serving as a committee member with the Grievance Committee. Currently he serves on the Budget and Finance Committee of the Ventura County Coastal Association Of Realtors.
He believes strongly in open communication with his clients and always makes himself available either by phone or email. Clients are thankful for the caring and sensitive attitude he offers as they experience the home buying and selling process.
