In the late 90's, Owner and Founder, Doug Phillips became immersed in Computers and design by taking classes at Nashville Tech, learning as much as possible, while working a full time job in the IT field which lead to pursuing web site design.
By 2003, Doug was finishing up his certifications at TechSkills as a Master CIW Designer, and left Corporate America to officially launch Big Picture Web Design in Spring Hill, TN.
Recognizing that there was an opportunity to provide web development solutions that could be integrated into custom designs for thousands of dollars less than fully custom development solutions, this approach also saves clients hundreds a year in maintenance, achieves a significantly faster time to market, allows the client to realize their ROI much faster, and gives clients the flexibility to choose only the services they need verses offering an "all or nothing" or "cookie cutter" solution.
