I started my company, The Mortgage Loan Company, Inc.that was in business since April of 2004. My husband and I have a 4 year old daughter. I started my company to work for myself so that I could utilize my talents and be a devoted mother. This year I want to get busier and grow the business. My husband is Tom Hite, owner of Hite Photo with his brother Don in West Bloomfield and Bloomfield Hills.
Prior to baby, I was the Branch Manager for National City Mortgage Wholesale division. I oversaw underwriting and sales. Prior to that I was the Great Lakes Regional Manager for Emagic, a division of MGIC (mortgage insurance) I had alot of success and learned alot. I trained brokers/loan officers how to use Emagic and did training/seminars on DU & LP. Prior to 2000, I worked for Radian, Huntington Bank/Mortgage,MI rep and LO for a small list of quite forgettable brokers.
Today I am the Branch Manager in the same location for Guaranteed. I have expanded our loan products to include FHA & VA. We are experts at FHA's 203K rehab program and Rural Development loans.
To the client, I am experienced in all areas of the production and closing of mortgage loans. My experience and success give my clients a great advantage because I accurately diagnose any issues with their ability to get their loan approved upfront and not 3 days before closing.
I bring to the table for Realtors and clients knowledge of how Underwriters perceive, manage, approve and deny loans. I know how DU & LP (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac's) systems work extremely well and often get approvals that other LO's won't touch. They just don't know how the system will take the information. I understand pricing and pride myself on getting clients to closing within $300 of their original GFE.
I never overcharge, I have never put a client in a loan with a pre-payment penalty. I help clients with challenging credit to get a conventional loan. I have never done a subprime loan and am proud of it. I will not low ball anyone and upcharge later, because it doesn't make any sense. I am ethical and come from a place of wanting to educate people on their options.
Most Recently I have added Contract Processing Sevices to my company, namely Processing Techs, Inc. I have years of expertise in training loan officers and processers on the loan process, so I am offerring, to qualified mortgage companies, a partnership to assist in their loan process. From training, to compliance and loan processing. I am specializing in processing FHA/VA, 203K Rehabilitation Program, USDA Rural Housing Program and All Conventional Loan Programs.
There is a need out there that I am able to fill that will help to compliment my current origination business. I am excited about the added changes and want to share this with interested parties.
Realtors that I work with often tell their customers to call me because I will not overcharge them. Often clients will show me another companies fees and I am apalled and ask if they are building a part of the house for the $10,000 they are charging. Honesty is my best attribute. I most prefer Realtor or family/friend referred customers, 1st time homebuyers are great.
I have good communication skills with all parties in a purchase transaction. I also specialize in Refinance, Renovation and Rehab loans. New Construction, I have past experience in wholesale with new construction and understand the lenders side better than most brokers. Realtors appreciate my professionalism and respect for them. Customers appreciate that I delivered the service and pricing that I said that I would. My company offers Home Equity Loans, 2nd Fixed Rate Mortgages. I have available to my company alot of loan products. Many ARM's, balloons, etc. I am finding that the public is getting conservative again and the 30 year fixed is gaining popularity again, truly a smart loan.
