Initially my Real Estate career was in development. Our family company built more than 300 town homes and condominiums in the St Petersburg area. My role was primarily design, from initial architectural concept to consulting to the color, type and installation of tile; I handheld the project and the Buyer's. I have personally helped more than 200 homebuyers customize their new home to realize their dream through the color-out process,i.e., the selection of standard features and upgrades for new construction. this experience has giving me a well-defined expertise in understanding clients wants, especially Buyers.
As for Sellers, I was you. These were my properties to sell. I was the anxious Home Owner wanting to sell my property. The big difference is, I had not one, but many homes to sell! I understand the Seller's point of view!
I am big on education. My degree in Business is an academic foundation that I build upon with frequent and varied continuing education courses. I have completed my Accredited Buyer's Representative course work, and an currently enrolled in the Resort and Second Home Specialist program. I will have both designations by the end of this summer. For my clients that means I am not only a Florida beach girl born and bred with local knowledge at your disposal. I am also well educated on how to best maximize your dollar; whether it is through preparing your property for sale, or helping you to buy a new home, I have the skill set to get the job done, and done well!
2013 is my year of vast educational personal improvement! I upgraded my licensure from Sales Associate to Broker. That process increased my knowledge of the industry and the responsibility entrusted to Real Estate professionals by our customers. That responsibility is why I keep working to improve my skill set to better serve those who trust in me! A very important step in that self-improvement is becoming a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute. This prestigious designation is my other 2013 goal! I have completed the first two of three courses, which was 10 full days of intensive instruction on how to be a Premier Real Estate Professional. On each of the five examinations, I scored above 90%. I am looking forward to the next program and the completion of the GRI Designation, not only because I will proudly display those letters after my name; but, because I know I will be a better Realtor!
