I was born in Encino, California and was raised in Woodland Hills. As a typical California teen I spent most of my summers on the beaches of Malibu, Oxnard and Ventura. My husband Mike and I have called Ventura County home for over 20 years. We have raised two daughters here and feel that it is one of the best communities in California. I had an extensive career in the customer service industry before joining a National Real Estate Corporation in Simi Valley.
A beach home in Ventura County has been the ultimate goal for us and I now hold great pleasure in helping others to achieve that same goal.
Laurie's strong belief that education is the key to providing her clients with exceptional service is evident in the earned designations of Certified HAFA™ Specialist (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative), Resort and Second-home Property Specialist® (1 of only 42 in California!), Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, and Certified BPO/REO Specialist™ (Foreclosures). She completed the coursework involving intense study in Foreclosure Alternatives, marketing, second home and investment properties, as well as Senior's issues such as "aging in place".
As a Certified HAFA Specialist, my goal is to help people stay in their homes, enlisting the HAMP program. When that is not an option I can help them navigate the rules and forms involved in a pre-approved short sale using my HAFA Certification.
