I am a native Texan and I especially love the Texas Hill Country. Texas has a very diverse real estate market; offering rolling plains, pine forests, huge lakes, coastal regions, deserts, mountains, and the famous Texas Hill Country.
All regions are different and offer good things, but the Lake Buchanan area is my favorite. We have beautiful hills up to 3,000 feet in elevation, crystal clear rock-bedded streams and rivers, towering trees and an easy, relaxed life style with friendly people.
All the small Hill Country towns offer special themes, like Bandera's "Cowboy Capital of the World", Fredericksburg's great German cuisine and Octoberfest, Medina's "Apple Capital of Texas", Comfort (the "Star of Texas"), Marble Falls, Burnet, Utopia, Leakey, Concan and many others. These are the special places to those who love the beauty and majesty of the Texas Hill Country.
This area has an abundance of rivers and creeks and I like to develop new communities for vacation retreats and retirement living. Hunting is also a big sport and many people like to buy ranches or rural properties here. The wildlife is abundant and the deer and exotic animals roam freely. Bird watching and photography enthusiasts love this area because of the diverse wildlife.
