I've used IDX Broker 'Classic' on my website (http://goo.gl/1gwtV) for years, and the system has bee... more I've used IDX Broker 'Classic' on my website (http://goo.gl/1gwtV) for years, and the system has been great. Classic has been robust and very customizable. On June 6th, I upgraded from Classic to Platinum. I'd been eagerly anticipating the platinum upgrade because of the mobile search capabilities. When you upgrade, they keep Classic running in parallel to give you time to adjust settings, customize pages and CSS, set field preferences, etc., before you flip the switch to make Platinum the public IDX on your site. Well, it's been over three weeks now, and I'm still not able to flip end users over to Platinum because of issues with the upgrade. I have two IDX feeds on my site (Hudson Gateway from MLXchange, and Sullivan County NY from Paragon.) Here aer the issues I've encountered: - The search lists for cities and counties (populated from the IDX feeds) weren't correct. The counties/cities I needed in the search lists weren't there, and other counties/cities were there. This has been largely corrected. - From the Paragon feed, the "Additional Features" options (which are key in advanced search), which worked flawlessly in Classic, don't work in Platinum. This still has not been resolved, and is the main reason I can't flip end users over. - Leads wouldn't load. When going to the leads section of the dashboard, leads wouldn't load. (They were brought over from Classic.) This appears to have been resolved. Support response has been up and down. You do get an email response that a ticket has been entered for this or that issue, but there's little follow up that an issue has been resolved. So it's on the subscriber to go and check if that or that is functioning or not. There's no automated support ticket system to go in and check on status on your own. Also, it would be helpful if IDX Broker set up an end user forum where we can discuss issues and share tips and tricks. The new IDX Platinum looks like a powerful upgrade, if and when it works. But until the bugs get ironed out, users should be very cautious about upgrading, especially if your base system is Paragon.
