Yes, you are not seeing things. We close a short sale tomorrow that will pay out a commission of over 12%! The lender is Wells Fargo FINANCIAL, not to be confused with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage or Wells Fargo Bank. Wells Fargo Financial does an excellent job at pre-approving short sales.
