I use Transaction Desk nearly every day at work.  It has proven to be an indispensable tool in my business.  Along with my laptop and blackberry, TD just makes it so easy to do forms, contracts, meetings and keep it all archived.  Emailing offers and counteroffers is a snap.  I know they cover qu...

My wife and I sometimes dream of moving out west.  I do so much traveling and hunting out there that we think it would be a great place to retire.  I've been looking for small acreage (10 ac. M/L), so I can raise and train my bird dogs, with a nice, small (3/2) home.  I used realtor.com but found...

I can now add "puppy midwife" to my name!  Actually, Bee is a perfect mom and did everything herself. We watched the last two being born and she didn't need our help at all.  So, we ended up with four healthy liver pups, Brittanies.  The one female and one male are already spoken for.  The other ...

What did we do before the Internet?  Trust me, I'm not one who thinks the Internet is world-peace and happiness personified.  However, it sure makes Real Estate easier with all the web-based applications for forms and information.  I am very close to being virtually paperless.  I hope to have a p...

Twice now, in the past few weeks, I've been approached by clients searching for a home in this area.  Both told me to not bother looking in a certain county because they heard the taxes are too high.  Actually, I told them, the taxes in that county are LOWER, significantly, than the surrounding c...

Blogging is new to me, so this should be interesting. I've read a few on other sites and they seem so rambling and sometimes irrelevant. Hopefully, this won't drop to that level! LOL!
