TXDot says that it appears a barge hit one of the columns on the bridge between Seven Points and Gun Barrel City, east of Cedar Isle, cracking the column. Contractors have been asked to bid on a temporary repair of the bridge.  In the meantime, highway 334 is closed until the column is repaired. ...
