I am a retired Greater Sacramento Realtor. My career spanned 40 years beginning in 1981, and ending in 2021. MY INTERESTS & HOBBIES: In addition to family activities, I am active in a Sacramento history group, and a local Sacramento area genealogy group. I actively research several family names. I also have a special love of cooking. For several years, I worked at an international software development company, which was represented by people from all over the globe. During that time, I was fortunate enough to learn special recipes from a number of them. They include, Indian, Caribbean, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Romanian, Hungarian, Irish, and Carolina "Low Country" recipes. I have developed a special interest in mixing certain recipes from varying ethnic groups to create unique recipes and combinations not usually seen. Another of my favorite pastimes is gardening. And, I often find myself spending hours in my garden, and wondering where time has gone! I am interested in photography and cameras. This interest began as a child, and has remained and was perpetuated in my Real Estate career, family activities, and travel. Last but not least, I enjoy travel - both foreign and domestic.

SuperBowl 2020 is going to find me doing some serious couch time. I’m relaxing this year. It’s one of those rare events where family isn’t coming home, and I have no plans to do anything but pretend I’m a sloth most of the day. While I won’t be cooking up anything special today, there have been p...

Are You Fulfilling Your New Year Resolutions? When 2020 found way to this New Year, I vowed to take on several things I had been neglecting. These tasks included painting and redoing a bedroom in my home. And, especially, they included taking care of my eyes. A few years back I had seen an ophthal...

I must admit, until I encountered Ron and Alexandra Seigel here on ActiveRain, I hadn't paid as much attention to branding as I should have been!  But, I've moved away a tad from that ignorance, and am currently a little more alert to any interesting branding which comes my way. Yesterday, was a ...

I'm amazed at how quickly 2019 passed.  And, I'm excited to see what 2020 will bring!  Several of my family showed up for lunch today.  I cooked up a little Paella.  I'm reluctant to post the recipe, because I don't have measurements for the ingredients.  I just toss in any amounts I happen to ha...

Last evening several of my family enjoyed a special dinner at Al-Noor Indian Restaurant in Rancho Cordova.  I have always had a special fondness for Indian food.  And, I often remind my family that I believe Indians are more civilized than we are!  My reason for these thoughts are based on the fa...
