I have often written blogs on the latest cameras that will work well for the real estate agent.  I have come to realize one would be better off learning to use the camera you have over purchasing the newest, most advanced camera available.  Having said that I am always watching the camera market ...

When I joined the Photography Group there were several contributors who wrote helpful blogs about photography.  Eventually someone put these most useful blogs into a list and over time I inherited the list and began adding to it with articles and blogs to help improve ones real estate photography...

This morning I signed up for a trial of pfretour.  It's a tour hosting service brought to you by Larry Lorhman of photographyforrealestate.net.  Larry's site contains many articles which should help you improve your photography including a guide for REALTORS.  In about 10 minutes I put together a...

Several months ago, I had a brief conversation with this guy from Europe about writing a book on pole aerial photography.  This got me to thinking that there currently is no book on the subject so maybe someone ought to write one.  After some thought I decided to write one.  It's been a few month...

The first photo used a 1X1 Light Panel and a Micro from LitePanels.  The second used just the Micro.  I'm thinking the Micro is all that is needed to conduct this type of photography.  It's about a 23 second shutter at f/9.  I especially like the way the plants are lit.  I see there is a light s...

I've read many light painting blogs and am fascinated by the technique and look.  Usually they talk about standing in front of the camera with a flashlight to draw out shapes and such like this: In this case, I held a color gel over the lens of the flashlight each time to produce a different colo...
