Knowing the law is an important part in growing successful in the real estate business. As a political science major and lawyer I have found that it has helped me greatly in my real estate success and foundations. Prior to the creation of FSBO Systems I did commercial leasing and sales and served as Chair of the Alaska Real Estate Commission. In 1995 I founded FSBO System, a successful company that provides professional guidance to do-it-yourself home sellers throughout the U.S. and Canada. For all 17 years, all of Kirk Wickersham's clients outperformed local agents in terms of days on market and chance of success – and they saved an average of $15,000. In 2012, an offshoot company, FSBO System, LLC, put the entire program on the Internet for use by home sellers throughout the US and Canada.
