I took this picture while on a trip to find garnets in Utah. I loved how serene this pictures looks. It makes me just want to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Away from the demands of daily life. To remember that there is more to life that bills, work, and stress.

I think most of us have seen pine cones. These pretrified cones found at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History are amazing.  Red fleet Reservoir was named after the Navajo sandstone buttes nearby. The three formations look like a red fleet of ships.
