Submitted my couple blogs to Technorati today, including this one.  Who else here uses Technorati to gauge your success versus your competition?  Love to hear feedback - positive and negative - on what you think of them. E7PSU32N99SV

Hi all Looking for some feedback here from agents & brokers.  I am in the midst of launching a new real estate agency site, and would welcome recommendations.  Here's the skinny... Built using Wordpress I am very familiar with WP as a whole It is very easy to update, which is why I want to use it...

Hey all I have found a fantastic OCR program.  It works amazingly well - although I am limited to using it as a trial at the moment.  I plan to buy it from Ebay once I have a little spare cash. It's called FineReader 9.0 from ABBYY.  Excellent program and I would recommend it to anyone - if you f...

I have been a long time blog reader, but really hadn't done much writing until recently. What I have found already in my first handful of posts to ActiveRain, it's really cool to see how your points change - the ebb and flow of rising and falling in the rankings. In fact, it made me ask a questio...

I'm entering a lot of data for a variety of projects at the moment.  I have some data that is hardcopy only - so I am scanning it and using software to get the text out of it in bulk rather than re-key it all in. Anyone have a good referral for their OCR program? Thanks, Gregwww.austin-housing.net

What I want to find is as many HOA websites as possible - all within the Round Rock area just north of Austin.  This is to continue building my database of Austin area HOA's. I am using Google as much as possible, but it's amazing how poor...

I am now knee deep in my HomeOwners Association database project.  I started right before the holidays and was able to make a little headway late at night in between everything else! If you didn't catch news of this previously, I am building a thorough database of HOA information covering the gre...

I just finished a preliminary draft of my income tax return for 2008.  I'm trying to get a jump start on it now so I can get it filed ASAP.  But in going through those preparations, I discovered something I wanted to share. Just in the past few months, I began using a simple GPS device in my car ...

So, my 2nd post T-minus-5 minute egg timer is ticking. Good thing I already knew what I was going to write! I'm getting underway on something I think the agents in my neck of the woods will see value in.  And, consumers will probably be pretty interested, too. I am beginning work on compiling a t...
