The property was a short sale and now its an REO. The signs still up and getting calls. Is this happening to you too?  What do you do?  Try to write it up as an REO now?

I have noticed that everyone wants FHA financing these days.  It doesn't matter how high the credit score, everyone seems to want an FHA loan. I hear people saying they are going to file bankruptcy to stop their foreclosure quite a bit.  I'm wondering how much that really helps?  I mean, can you file bankruptcy and not pay the mortgage, and keep the house? The borrowers called Homecommings and Homecommings forgave their second mortgage and reduced the principal on the first for them to do a refinance. Then they went out and bought a car and as if that wasn't bad enough, they now have the house for sale! Somethings not right with this picture.
