So Close...only 6 points from the C-1 State Championship...with the serve in our hands...one of our best servers up...my favorite rotation on the court...across from us was the 14 - time State Champions ... the team with the most victories in the last decade in the State in any class... the best

They did it!! They defeated their arch rival for the first time in 8 tries in the State C-1 semifinals in 5 sets! What a euphoric feeling for the girls! The first time that GICC has not been in the State finals for 5 years!! Now it is time to quickly refocus this morning for an early 9am tip off
